Sounds pretty cheap to me with all those options.

ugh...ya, that sounds REALLY cheap. I have pretty much the same spec but in CSG and no BT, and paid $55k on road. That was part of the EOYS and an additional $2k price drop.
I'd take that deal and run...Scirocco R - Candy White / DSG / Panoramic Roof / RNS510
Mods - HPA ECU & DSG Stage 2 / VWR Racing Intake / Akrapovic Slip-On Titanium Tips / Milltek DP / HPA Mounts / Superpro LCA / H&R Sport Springs / VMR V710 19x8.5 / Michelin PSS 255-35

Yeah I don't really want either, but to take advatage of the sale I will have to.
I was thinking Park assit for resale vaule and its more practical., Also I prefer white.
Also I have heard with the ACC, lowering the car will cause issues, is this correct? (I have plans for the furture)

ACC is great with the 18". WJ thinks you could still do a small drop with ACC (ie 15mm) without too many problems. Main thing would be finding some springs that don't increase NVH (ie noise) but kind of got ACC so i wouldnt mod it, and the OEM suspension is better anyway overall.

Its only a 3K discount on options, I'm sure there is more money in it for the dealer.

How did I go with my deal? Any thoughts will be appreciated.

EOFY sale price
im eyeing the 90tsi golf however the trendline limits me to certain upgrade options. only comfort pack, no sports pack
just wondering whats the lowest price anyone paid for their 90tsi manual/dsg price during the eofy sale.
can i change the rims to those vw 18" ones?
would appreciate inputs and advice.
thanks guys

The 90TSI is the absolute base Golf. The EOFY sale means they're paying all your onroads - dealer deliver, registration, std plates, compulsary third-party insurance (or the equiv in your state) and stamp duty. Since the 90TSI is only $24990 (Manual), and the onroads for that could be ~$3,915 depending on who you are and where you live ($1995 dealer delivery, $1110 rego & ctp & plates, $810 stamp duty), that equates to a 13.54% discount!!!! That is already a very generous discount. In fact, many people have negotiated hard and walked away happy with a deal on far more expensive Golf models with a lower % than which the EOFY automatically gives you on the 90TSI.
In other words... you could practically go to any dealership and you'll get basically the same price - either the advertised sale price very close to it. Maybe the different between dealers might be freebies they throw at you. But don't expect any further cash discount. That way if you can't get anything further off, you won't be disappointed, and if you do, then you'll be very pleased.

sounds good mate. i figured it would be hard to go below 24990, but perhaps they could give me freebies, or allow me to add-on some options at a discounted rate.
however seems like if the car i want is out of stock and delivery would be after eofy period, i am not entitled to the sale price? =( is that the way things are?
