Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    They lost my car
    Got a call today from the dealer saying the car is listed on the system as "delivered" but it did not arrive. Lots of 3 door GTI's and a few Roks did but not mine.
    Being a weekend the dealer has to wait for the dispatch staff to go hunting on Monday, do you think those light finger GPS thieves took the whole car in this case???

      Fidelio with our R is tracking well.

      Still on time for Brisbane offload on the 20th.

      Time to start demodding the GTI in prep for listing it.

        Damn, can't believe how excited I am about the arrival of this car. The wife thinks it is so cute.

        From the first drive experiences of others, I know it wont disappoint.

                  I am buddy. Waiting for a White Golf GTI that is on the Aniara at the moment.

                  Tried to track it, but they haven't updated its location since the end of July.

                    She is due in Auckland tomorrow so you should be able to track it again soon.

                        Atleast you know what boat yours is on! haha.. vw gc reckon they dont know my boats name? because it is a car another dealer ordered or something.. its meant to dock on the 11th in brisbane i think.

                          Ryan, try get the VIN number off your dealer, and then track it that way. it will tell you which ship you car is on

                              Once you have the VIN, how do you tell if it's MY11,MY11.5 or MY12? I've tried searching but can't seem to find the trick to telling this from the VIN.
