The Toscana is now in port philip bay in Melbourne for anyone with cars on there. With the public holiday tomorrow though dont expect the cars to be looked at until Tuesday at the earliest.

What is everyone averaging in terms of wait time once the ship has docked?

I took delivery on 11th June - ship arrived on 31st May - so less than 2 weeks. The dealer actually had a couple of cars delivered that came in on the Queen Saphire - 3 days earlier!....

In regards to the Toscana, it is now at the docks in Melbourne and will be leaving tomorrow.

Hi Hooba, Tijuca has finally docked at Port Kembla. After 3 months of waiting I should be but reading some of the problems with the TSI 118 has got me a tad Still having done several test drives I know it is a great car and all I can do is hope that it'll be OK. My dealer has advised that it will take about 16 days form the time it arrives before I get it. They were not willing to make the changes on the VAG COM settings for some of the cool features mentioned in this forum. Anyone else with vehicle on this vessel at Port Kembla?

When I track the car using the VIN number it tells me it will unload at Port Kembla. This is a little strange since I am in Melbourne! Dealer also lied to me at first and said I would take delivery mid-June, but it won't even come off the ship until 20th of June...

I doubt I'll get it before July comes around. Grrr...

Hi hazamatic, yours will unload in Melbourne. Tijuca leaves Port Kembla tomorrow 19-6 and arrives Melbourne 20-6. Not long to go now. Hopefully it will clear customs quick. When it clears it goes to a place where they give car a good detail before it gets to the dealer for final touches (such as tint, etc). I am not going to rush them at this stage 'cos I want the vehicle to be properly detailed before delivery. Then again I can do this 'cos I will be away for 2 weeks which should ease the waiting. All the best.

Got an email from the dealer today informing that my car will be delivered to their yard tomorrow (Tuesday 22nd). That is 10 days from when it was offloaded at e Port Kembla. He said I could have it from Thursday. I have a small problem in that my MINI hasn't sold yet so I'm a little short of cash. I might just have to put the shortfall on my mastercard.. I've actually bought a motorcycle on a credit card before as I paid the card off that afternoon. The dealer wants to wrap up the sale by 30th June so someone please buy my MINI... Is it excitement or stress that I'm feeling?

Thanks Liam. Chrissy and I have decided to catch the train to Gosford on monday and pick it up. I'll have two pretty special cars until someone buys the S. I'll do you a good deal if you like although it's still completely stock..

Have just found out my 118 TSI is on the TORRENS, which departed Bremerhaven on 17/6 and expected to arrive in Melbourne on 31/7
Anyone else have a car on the TORRENS?
