Yup that's them I did consider that but wondering why they are there, must be for some specific reason.

Been driving for 4 hours plus now and just love the car to bits, picking up the girly the thing almost got written off by someone deciding to change lanes but thanks to the awesome brakes pulled up really fast.

Put a HSV with the number plates 1****O to shame, obviously not passing the speed limits either.

Yep. They're there for ADR compliance. It's due to the wheels needing to be inside the guards and the 19" being 235's instead of 225's.

So for all the NSW and QLD peeps on the Morning Camilla, she left the port of Melbourne this morning not long after 2am and as of 1 hour ago has already gone off the radar just south of the Mornington Peninsula.

Port Kembla Port Corp have her arriving at 19:30 tomorrow.

I haven't been able to find any webcams for Port Kembla though.

16/11 Dealer phoned, car on transport from Patricks Autocare to dealeraship. Dealer expects car delivery today or tomorrow with handover this Friday or Saturday. But will confirm! Only 3 or 4 more sleeps

Any update Darren, as this vicarious car ownership is all some of us have!? According to the info the dealer sent me mine has about 15 things outstanding. In fact, pretty much nothing has been done since it was received on the 9th. First off the boat first out the gate for all others waiting and or curious (though that is so obvious I should have realised). Of course, not sure how often these pages get updated given it states the 'quick cycle charge' was started on the 15th but not completed. It's either not that 'quick' or the page is well out of date! Anyway, certainly looks like another week or thereabouts for me. And this after I spotted my first two Rs on the same day yesterday... anyone driving that 3dr white R with recaros, sunroof, black 19s I saw in Latrobe St Melbourne. Awesome.

No updates yet, although I will be calling the dealer today to confirm collection... It's funny for the past 5 months I've only seen 3 x Golf R's on the road, and one of them is my friends.....Where are they all hiding?

yep join the club mate lol! At least my dealer gave me the VIN tho. Its painful waiting and I haven't waited half what alot of ppl have. Mine came out of production three weeks ago almost and it still isn't on a boat yet according to the tracking site. Cmooooooooooon! :/

i hear ya runningmanz. first thing in the morning and last thing of a night I check where the vessel is that my BLACK is on... what is that?? I've cleaned out the car port in prep!!??! My business is suffering, the dog is sore from being kicked, my wife isn't talking to me, and the kids cringe when i walk past.... I go onto this page three times a day, why, I don't even have a Facebook account, don't believe in this social network BS... but here i am, eagerly conversing with other poor souls that have nothing more in common than the purchase of a CAR!! go figure that said, lovin every minute of it....
