How to track the car you have ordered?

This is what I've been mentioning... each car drives to the ramp, where it stops whilst another person scans in the barcode which is stuck to the windscreen, that then uploads all the manifest details... so the car's details are available before it's even been tied down.

It's only rare occasions where the ship's already been sailing before cars appear. I'm not sure what the case is that causes that to occur (weather blocking the wireless? who knows?)

There's a Discovery Channel documentary as part of the Mighty Ships series which focuses on a RORO shipc alled Faust. You guys should check it out if you can find it

Hey All

According to NADCON my 5 DR CW DSG GTI with leather, sunroof, 18" detroits was supposed to be on a boat on 8 April.

I have put my VIN into the cargo ID field in the Global search site (in IExplorer as linked on this site) and it says no records found....???

Is this normal?

Does anyone else have a car that would have been loaded onto a ship on that date?

I obviously don't know what the vessel name is.

If you're putting in the correct VIN, then it means it's not on the boat yet. Remember that NADCON is "ETA Data" - i.e. Estimated Time of Arrival. I'm sure you'll see it on a boat soon enough....

mines on TOPEKA... it was weird.. went from Germany to UK to Baltimore in the US (the wire hehe) down south of US, last week passing past Cuba and stated heading back to Netherlands ?? now no tracking.. hoping the next destination is Aus which is due next week 27/28 April
