How do you get tire rack to ship to oz? Looking on their site there's no international option.
Thanks
I'm guessing ur a tirerack newb, that's ok, u gotta start sonewhere.
Usually u email them to start the communication process, tell them what u want, where ur at.
There r plenty of tire salesmen, I used roger@tirerack.com, roger Laughlin
They will get a quote and u pay by doing a bank transfer either at the branch or online

I had my Golf 118 TSI for just over three years now and the OEM tyres need replacing. I had the Michelin Energy Saver 205/55/16 and have done just over 80,000 km with them but they are now left with 2mm on the rear and 1mm on the front pair. I've never expected to get anything beyond 50,000 the way I drive, but these tyres just kept going and going and going ...
The last 5,000 km, though, they were showing its age/wear but now the rains are here and the front tyres are getting out of shape, just started wobbling mildly at 60-80km/h. Done!
However, they are a bit pricey and I'm looking at alternatives. Pirelli P1 are what I have in mind at the moment and the price feels okay @ $160 per wheel. Does anyone have these tyres and what is your experience?
Hi guys, thinking of buying the Goodyear asym 2 from tirerack…will any tyre store fit them once landed and how much am I expected to pay for fitting?
They should. Im running them now atm. Very nice Tyre. Cost various but look at getting an Align as well. Shouldn't cost anymore than 15 a tyre to fit and balance

Some will & some won't. Best you phone & ask. $20 per tyre at the most rip-off place you can find, $15 at most others (fit, balance, tubeless valve & disposal fee).
carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums

I wouldnt be too fussed on fitting price, your biggest challenge is getting a decent wheel alignment. Most tyre places arent too happy fitting tyres and doing wheel alignments on tyres not bought from them.............its understandable !!!!!
A poor wheel alignment means premature tyre wear, negating any saving you made buying over the net.

I agree on getting a good wheel align. But disagree on tyre shops knocking back jobs because u didn't buy the there. Plenty of people turn up to get alignments done. If u think about it, if I bought a new car I would have to get an alignment done sooner or later. By your logic, tyre shops would knock me back cos I didn't buy my tyres there. How could I? The car is new.

Hi boys and girls I have recently bought a new set of wheels for my golf r, just wondering if I can use the same tyres that are on my 19 black tallegeda 235/35/19 on these. If not any advice on what tyres to get. I don't do track. I just want a set of good tyres with good traction. I have been told I can stretch my current tyres on to the new wheels. Is it safe to do so?
