Thanks for the tip elisiX, will do. I'm still trying to figure out my budget for rims as there is so many options at so many price points... especially if ordering from overseas is a possibility.
Its really dissappointing that VW didnt bother designing new rims. But it looks really good in these pics!
I'm really in two minds over the GTI's rims. I tend to agree that they don't look particularly spectacular. But on the other hand they instantly identify the car as a GTI.
And that second shot is really impressive, T-Bone, the cloud hiding the sun gives a dramatic quality to the picture.

I guess the thing for me was that i didnt want aftermarket wheels. And i really like the 18" detroits. But those 17" denvers are really dated :|
