Hopefully this should give the paint a good protective barrier against swirl marks and bird poop.

Hopefully by doing it all myself i will save myself a few $ and then still have product left to be able to re-apply it when required.
Don't tell me you're one of those people that like synthetic sealers great idea but IMO it just takes something out of the paint, makes it look a bit like plastic actually especially on black cars. Though I have only used klasse and poorboys ex-p so maybe some others are different.

I've never used anything like this before, this will be the first time i've ever used a paint protection product on my car. I'm hoping it won't make the paint look 'like plastic' as you mention, especially once i go over it with a good quality wax.

Interesting stuff, don't think I have the attention span to do it though.

Have read that quite a bit and I'm not interested in doing a wax every ~2mths which goes back to the cbf part. Don't think I'll bother with PPF either. Looks like I'm running the gauntlet, unprotected hehe

Fair enough, i'm hoping it's going to last longer than a couple of months before re application is required though.
As for the PPF, that's booked in for Thursday so i'll post some pics of the results, all going well it may change your mind about going out there without protection..
