Having seen quite a few MkVIs recently, it has to be red. I was overtaken by a white MkVI GTI on the freeway last night (well, it was mostly white but with a lot of reddish mud splashed around the back end) and it passed me in a most sedate manner. Had it been a red GTI it would have wooshed by as all red cars must.
Yeah - but I mean white cars in general. Go into a supermarket carpark and sometimes you'll see 50% of the cars are white and silver, and then the other 50% are made up of every other possibe colour. Although the blue is the majority of the R32 sales, that blue (and other manufacturers similar blues) is a small percentage compared to 'white'.
I just thought white was a good girls colour. Sick of silver and grey, and there are heaps of black cars on the road right now....
Already got a red car... don't particularly like the VI red.....
Black has attitude though - it's a toss up.
Wish VW had better colours. (It's a girl thing!)

It looks great man! Except for that dash cover! Ugly! Plus, since car dashes aren't crappy vinyl anymore, they're not needed to protect the dash from fade or cracking etc.
Nice MKVI!
I like the dash mat, I know a lot of people think they're ugly but it does protect the dash if you have to park out in the sun all day long. Mine isn't garaged and at work it sits out in a paddock practically. Combination of dash mat + windscreen shield protects the car nicely.
In saying that though I probably wouldn't have it on if I had better parking accessible.
Stelex: Nice photos, the background looks like Forest Lake...if so , I have a simular car with a simular photo in the same spot!

The wheels on the green MKV GTI above were the standard 18" option wheels for the MKV. I believe they called them 'Karthoum'. Not many people got them because they look pretty generic and they also required the fitting of ugly plastic 'wing extensions' in Australia to comply with regulations about wheel extrusion.
As for the Red MK6 GTI in the showroom, I believe that they're the BBS CH wheels (or a copy)
