I put some racks on my car yesterday, threw a kayak on the roof and cruised up the highway at a steady 115km/h... still getting decent economy even with a massive kayak on the roof.

And then today, got back to the car (overnighter in the kayak), chucked it back on the roof, drove a few muddy tracks that probably shouldn't be driven in sports cars and repeated..

That's the kind of thing mine will be doing. Which car have you got??

GT TDI - and it sounds awesome The growly kinda noise is actually quite nice.

Just a borrowed plastic sea kayak. Have to get my own or maybe build one.

GT TSIs are the only ones with integrated boost gauges!

Got new twin stainless steel exhaust tips on my TDI comfortline

I fitted the GT rear valance a while ago and was debating on fitting a GTI muffler or get exhaust shop to modify original muffler....mod won.

Grrrr for storms...my car was badly due for a wash and I contemplated topping up the wax on the body just after I dried it and it bloody BUCKETED down!! Not happy Jan!
