Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

        What coilovers did you have?

They are probably alright but they were the wrong ones for my car.

The induction noise is really nice.

That part is sub $20 at ECS tuning mate so I'd get a price off VW or AUDI. An easy out will remove the broken part in seconds.

Yea with the way vw is here in Mackay I'd be better off ordering oversees, it will get here quicker, my main problem is the easy out and trying to find one haha thanks for the reply

I can send you an easyout kit, google the part number, there's lots of hits.

I'm sure it is! Looks like a nice clean install.

                                I had a few questions:
                                1. How much is it? (With the heat shield)
                                2. Does the air box get mounted into the exist holes in the engine bay?
                                3. What is the size of the intake pipe?
