Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

The car liked the change in scenery and wants to move to the other side of the hill. I guess the only choice is to go to Orange for an R.T. Job.Originally posted by centralaxis View PostMine decided to breakdown along the Great Western Highway at Woodford on the way back to Sydney.
Lost power and the engine started vibrating badly, and my best friend the "check exhaust" warning light started flashing at me. Diagnosed by the NRMA as a misfire in cylinder 3 caused by a faulty coil pack, so they're all getting replaced. It's not something I did today as I ran out of sunlight, but it will be finished soon, I replaced the fuel filter and replaced the coolant hoses with blue forged ones as I had a bubble one of them and I picked these up for 50 delivered, lucky I did as some of them are a little brittle and I actually wore a hole in one when removing it.
Also on the way is a 42dd oil catch can kit after being talked into getting it over the bsh PVC revamp and also a new cam follower from Tim at dub addiction and I also have a Volant intake on its way, decided on this over ordering an AMD intake instead, was a tough choiceLast edited by darksigno; 17-08-2013, 11:38 PM.

mate can you please do me a massive favor and run a tape measure around the inside edge of one of the flares and also the straight distance be ends? The Polo 9n3 owners have been looking for something like this for a long time.
Cheers!
