Pics? I know a certain someone with them sitting at home waiting to fit them to his Jetta.

Not the best picture. Will get some proper photos asap!
Fitment is great. Clean lines. No gaps - some shadows are there though.

Looks very nice combined with the GT-CX's.

Yeh. I'm very happy. Could be a touch lower but its comfortable as a daily right now so probably won't touch the suspension more!

              Edit: here's a better pic

              • After just over 5 years and 82000Km in my Mk5 Golf 2.0 TDI, the key fell apart. The business end flew away when I pressed the button. Fortunately, it didn't disappear. Examination at the bench showed that the casting that locates the business end had fractured and the pin that holds the business had vanished. Never mind. Some epoxy glue at appropriate places has the key back in working order. Pic shows the broken parts.

                • What did you do to your Mk5 today? Got rid of it. After the 3rd injector failure leaving us stranded again, air con failure, throttle body failure, alternator failure, the most unreliable car I've ever had anything to do with (including the old bomb i had while at uni) is gone. Now have a spare space in the garage to fill.

That's a shame that you got a lemon.

                      • I super-polished my windscreen, windows and sunroof following the instructions in this video:

HOW TO: Super Clean Your Windshield - YouTube

Essentially: buy 0000 grade steel wool (box about $5 from Bunnings). Polish the windscreen using the steel wool, then apply two coats of Rain-X, before removing the haze with a damp cloth. I've never felt glass so smooth! I can't wait for it to rain now

(Before anyone asks, no - the steel wool does not scratch the windscreen. The 0000 grade is about as fine as you can get, and feels like a coarse cloth)

That's a very handy tip, I'm sure many people will use that. Thanks for posting it.

I would have liked to use a photo album here, but 'Photos $ Albums' does not appear on my user control panel, so I can't set it up.

Still no access. Most people use photobucket or flickr as their host
