What did you do to your Mk5 today?

Had a few carpark dents and a pine cone related dent in the roof removed by DKC Dent Removal at Kirrawee.

He did a damn fine job of it, higly recommend him.

Made a list and priced up 3-4 different mods I want to tackle in the next 3-4 months, both interior + performance wise. Still haven't got the car yet

Oil and filter change (40000 miles) using OEM filter and Motul 507 spec oil.Bought 4 litres of oil instead of 5 Ordered K&N panel filter which is an easier/cleaner job for next week
I may give it a wash sometime in the next month or so

Over the weekend I pulled out most of the dash, battery, windscreen wipers (don't ask) half of the steering column cover, air intake and multiple lights and switches; just to fit a boost gauge. Seriously the worst job I've ever had to do.

And the new steering wheel cover doesn't match the existing colour, so I have to get some paint made up next weekend.

I also replaced my side mirror indicators and rear licence plate lights. Quite a good weekend I guess...

Today i put my Cupra R front lip on, black badging, tow hook, full sick nurburgring sticker, ecs tuning resonator delete. Waiting on new aerial and a set of coilovers. Gave it a full clay bar and cut and polish in and out too.

What did i do to my Mk5 today?????? I hit the gutter while reading a text grrrrrrrrrrrr.......
rim is badly scratched and steering is pulling right
i hope a alignment will fix it but something might be bent
I wish i had pulled over to read the text

Could have been worse. You could have run down a pedestrian I guess.

More expensive would have been if the coppers saw you. $225 + 3 points IIRC

Ok Got a wheel alignment done ($65) it was 23mm out, the cars driving ok now, the guy recommended that i get the stub axle and bearings replaced and check the strut off the car
