guys not sure if such a thread has been posted. I've had the car since jan 4th and I truly love it to bits. A few things that irritate me. The petrol cap. Why don't they have a holder for it but this bit of plastic to hold it! You can't even rip it off and place it on the petrol pump. You sit there fidgeting to get it to sit on the cap door. I also don't know why they didn't put a little space between the sun visor and the roof. You can't put your hand in there to slide it down. If the roof was white it would show so much dirt after a while. The wiper sensors. They are so erratic. I was driving down the city and it decided to come on on a sunny day! The seats - well they are nice seats but getting in and out is a struggle with the side support. I remember my subaru had a bit of an arch. I had material seats and I found them to wear very fast. I suppose leather will last longer. Apart from that the car is awesome and wouldn't swap it for anything. Anything else that people dislike?

the rubber seals/run off on the boot, when you lift the hatch, water gets in if its wet. The lack of a runoff on the roof also allows water to come in the car if you are driving with the window open.
the stupid noise the radio makes when you first turn on the car.
even though im 6 foot 3, I still have to reach so far back for my seatbelt (I have a 3 door)
the stupid noise the car makes (ping) when I don't have my seatbelt on.

All of the above.
few to add.
I've not found any pair of sunglasses to actually fit in the holder....
Reinterate the petrol cap one.
THe MFD display saying "This menue is not available unless the car is stationary" I f**king know, just skip it, im generally going from computer to stereo controls and not the convenience menu
Reiterate the wipers, if they are auto, whi do i have to turn them off and on again if the car is already wet when i start it?
DSG gear change not always spot on, i find it sometimes stays in 3rd or 4th when it could be in 5th, maybe not that clever? aso it always jumps down to 2nd going over speed bumps unless u really nurse it.
The armrest, having to lift it full up and back to get it in a position that is comfy.
that'll do for now.
Still way better than any of my previous cars after all that.currrently... MY10 GTI | DSG | Candy White | Sunroof | 18's | BT | MDI
previously... MY08 GT TDI | DSG | Reflex Silver | Sunroof

I got a GT, but close enough
Ditto on the petrol cap, armrest and MFD.
My sunnies fit in the holder just fine.
I think the wipers will only start when the car moves faster than 15km/h, but if you change to reverse, the rear wipers start right away.
I don't like how the top part of the windscreen doesn't have the tint strip or whatever to reduce glare from the sun, my old Camry did but now I always have to use the visor in the mornings and arvo.
The MY07s not having mp3 playback capability.... c'mon VW, Mazda and even Suzuki models bought before my car had these features!!!
I'll edit this as I think of more

ROFLMAO - I'm not sure what's funnier. The fact it costs more than an i pod or the fact some one paid more than an i pod for it.
What a joke!Originally posted by WhubbsieThere is nothing better than a polo badge, thats why you will notice Veyron drivers with polo gti badges.... they know where the true sizzles at!
