And as one member said he knows of a workshop that uses this forum for 'knowledge'........................kinda begs the question of what really the 'Independent workshops' out there know about our cars once beyond just doing the basics of an oil change service?????

Well I gotta say my independent workshop is nothing less than absolutely brilliant.

The difference between theme and the authorised mob is like chalk and cheese. The Indy workshop are vw/Audi enthusiasts and give you a real old school method of service. Nobody else other than them and me are good enough to touch my small fleet of dubs.

Yeah please do , good luck with your car, if you can find someone competent. Ill certainly be helping less not just because of this train wreck of a thread but plenty others.
