gunna look like this........
Just waiting on Andres @ tirerack to confirm shipping and take my $'s!
Starting to get that nervous, pent up excitement feeling again........modding is a wonderful (if expensive) way of life
Feedback wanted: am thinking colour coding the grille and badging to match the rims. Thoughts? Windows are a really dark tint and with the dark rims, was thinking of eliminating all the "bling" and trying somehting alittle different.sigpic
Blue MkV R32 3Dr, DSG, Sebring box & 2.5" stainless, BMC CDA CIA + 3.5" stainless, 18" O.Z. Ultraleggeras, H&R springs, carbon rear valance

Man, I've sent emails to Eric @ Tire Rack and www.1010tires.com and nobody there will respond, much less with a price to ship wheels to Australia.

Hey I just noticed you're from Albury. Have you bumped into YellowDieselGolf and his stunning Mk4 GTI?

I so want these rims too....... but they are just so hard to find.
18"x8" 5x112 ET45
45mm offset is as low as you would want to go with an 8" rim. If you went to ET30/35 you would be poking out side of the guards and would then have rubbing/scraping problems.sigpic

If so, no I haven't as yet as I have been unable to pin it down. Seen it a few times and it looks very sweet. Looks like an Oettinger kit??sigpic

That's Pete, he's a good guy, you'll find him in the Mk4 section of this site.
He has the Oettinger grille, but AFAIK the rest is the OEM Votex kit.

Oh, I got a price back from www.1010tires.com for shipping. Not terribly useful in terms of detail as I'm not sure if it was from their Canadian location or the US, or how long it should take, but anyway the price for them to send wheels they gave me was US$550.
Once I'm fair dinkum I guess the best ploy would be to ring them up.
Cheers Liam
