As predicted, it was that bolt i was talking about. I got it changed today and back to normal. everything running perfectly smooth and no rattling.. also crisp gear changes without any of that annoying vibration when releasing the brake pedal._

Went to see Lucas from Eurospeed regarding my clicking sound as VW could not give a crap and a certain other tuner is just an arrogant pig who could not give a stuff about anything but money and has no time for you at all.
Lucas genuinely gives a crap and looked after me, spent over an hour checking over everything and gave more non biased advise and pointers than any other mechanic ever has.
Legend!
Oh and for now and hopefully for good.... clicking gone!
Basically checked and tightened every bolt on the sub frame, pendulem mount and TAI along with everything else around that area including front suspension etc.

I think I might know which tuner you're talking about LOL. Hopefully all goes well for you. My next problem is misfiring over 5000rpm in 3rd now. The problems never bloody stop! Now I Will have to check all the normal things like plugs / coil packs / MAF / Induction / Injectors._

That sucks for you bro?? would be best if it was on the dyno to diagnose it, may save you a lot of hit and miss. How long have you had that issue? What was the last changes you made to the car?

Yeah I was thinking about dyno'ing it, but ive got all the spares already. My old plugs and coil packs are in perfect working order, I only changed them as a precaution.. and ive got the stock airbox. If its the MAF or injectors, im stuffed lol.
I changed everything just before the last dyno day, tried to get everything up to scratch to get the best run.. and just quietly i was pretty disappointed with 155fwkw. Thats another issue though, however it may have been the new plugs or coilpacks that gave me less than expected results.. although the power curve looks pretty good
I only really started to notice the misfiring after re-oiling my k&n filter. Maybe I oiled it a little too much and some excess was sucked through and dirtied the MAF (it was definitely not dripping with filter oil though so that theory seems hard to believe). I think I'll just take it to my mechanic who can run some live logs to identify the issue. fingers crossed!_

I have heard that over oiling can cause similar sounding dramas so it would actually make sense, I am no Anthony Rodrigues though! You should have a few answers after viewing some logs from the dyno bro, good luck hope you find the issue.... let us know what it is yeah.
