Jamil was at Denlo VW - he has been transferred to Narellan Subaru (both dealerships are under the same umbrella company - Inchape). One can still purchase the VW extended warranties through him. Just give Narellan Subaru a call and ask to speak to him.

First warranty claim on extended warranty a couple of weeks back, faulty ignition coil on number 2.....replaced without question (would have been $160!)

Just got a quote from kim at southern classic cars. $2200 for new car extended warranty on r32. They are offering $1429 for the extended used car warranty with the $2000 claim limit.
I then spoke to eric at burwin vw. he told me that from october there has been a massive price increase & that you can forget about the old prices. new price is $2200 discounted from rrp of $3500.

I have tried to call jamil, his on holidays until tomorrow. If anyone has bought extended warranty in the last couple weeks & still got old price can you let me know where you got it from.
They also told me that if you got a quote prior to price rise & they still have it on computer that it is still valid

My warranty runs out this Thursday..i hope i get hold of someone before then!!! Please let me know if anyone is able to contact Jamil.

Well mine ran out on the 3 November (3 years old) and due to not having one issue or warranty claim
not even a rattle after 40000k's I decided not to extend the warranty.
Probably just jinxed myself.

Just contacted Narallen Subaru and they told me that Jamil is coming back to work on the 6th of Dec.

It is kinda hard to feel sorry for you when you've left it till the 11th hour to get things sorted and you can't even call the dealers (even when the contact details have been given to you)
