      I'm in Perth Guy.

APR with a test pipe and test pipe flash sounds like me!

You could have just bought the tune, how much have all your weight saving and out mods cost up to date?

I agree if you don't like the product you don't have to buy it.

              Don't make it personal guys.

Guy, if there's stage 2 on the cards, does that mean there's likely to be some apr hardware to support it? As per the gti exhaust, intake and downpipe?

Or would the stage 2 also be available to those with an aftermarket intake and custom exhaust?

There's nothing personal about it but an observation that people will boast about having a $9400 watch but will complain about a $2500 tune + warranty for a car. AFAIK other then the APR one coming there is no other company with a tune out, this is rather indicative of how difficult writing to the new ECU's is and the amount of Research and Development required.

No company has any obligation to provide a product at a cheaper price just because someone wants it cheaper. If you want the product pay the price, if you can't see the value or can't afford it then it's not for you.

If I walk into 'Watches of Switzerland' tomorrow and demand a $2500 watch for $900 I bet I'd be shown the door pretty quick.

You know what Mav? You're dead right.
There is on the other hand something called market feedback. I know of 3-4 people in Perth alone waiting for a cost effective TSI tune and will keep on waiting until there is a cost effective option available. 3 x tunes ~$1000-$1500each = more profit for the seller than 0 @ $2000-$2500 each.

It should also be taken into account that the GT's are a less expensive car than the GTI and a tune @ $2500 brings the cost just about lineball with that initial outlay to get the same power output based on specs I've heard mentioned.

I will take your advice though and accept it's just not for me
No offence Guy but it seems like a good product just overpriced, I'm happy to read though that you're selling them by bucketload. Maybe when the volume gets high enough the price will settle somewhat.

May not be as cheap as people would like (neither are Rolex's) but i like the part about Warranty.. Fair bit of technology in these engines and i wouldn't personally muck around with it unless but a company giving warranty must say something about the product.

The whole point of the GT was economy anyway i thought.

Yep stage 2 is in the planning - we know the RSC catback will fit, its a matter of the new downpipe, high flow cat etc. Also sizing we have to be careful of - thats a mighty small turbo in there!

Need more Brisbane based 1.4's for testing please!

More reason to suspect the 100hp increase is BS.

Are you finding the 3” DP too large for the GT?

Just going on the compressor & wastegate size, it's really really tiny (slightly less than a K02), so we think 2.5 will be PLENTY !

Anyway, we need to to test the sizings & cat placement - just need a car & plenty of time!
