Like the fuel cap, I don't really have problems with the centre cup holders.. Just slide the little bottle opener! Although you can't really use the aux power socket if you're using the deeper one.. And the door holder are fine.. Just ask my mates how many bottles of smirnoff they can hold!

don't think I would have bought any other car, except a GTI, than my R32. For the money you get space, comfort, luxury, and performance.

not many cars out there can give you that overall package for the money, i think.
I found it.. at the VW dealer.

      Its call the Mk6 Golf.

I liked what I saw having a peek at one the other day. Liked ALOT. Same price as the Mk5 but alot of the problems resolved and alot of things improved which really didnt need improving.

From what i've gathered.. I think people will be thankful the Mk6 has 2 reverse lights...

There are 2 little grooves on the cap that are designed to neatly tuck/sit on the petrol cap. Try it at home when no one is looking and you will get the hang of it. Once you get it you will love it!

I cannot fault my GTI, absolutely no problems with the fuel cap clip on. It took about 2 minutes practice when I first bought the car. Admittedly the Mk4 one was nicer though.
I have tried to nitpick and find a problem with the car but after owning it for over 3 years I cant fault it.
NO car is perfect but these things are pretty close to it.

Ya big girls, I just put my plastic cap carefully on the paintwork, fill her up, adjust myself, spit, then go in and pay.

                    You know its a thought.

A turbo diesel mk6 with a man pedal would probably be worth what a trade in with my mk5 is.

Offtopic: I dreampt the engine fell out of my mk5 last night and they tried to fix it.

I swear your car is possessed mate, I've yet to have any saga, pretty much at all, and I'm messing with mine all the time. Often with no real clear idea...

It's almost worth buying for that....

Except what is with the Fisher Price door handles on the Mk6?

I couldn't work it out - I had to resort to the - gasp - instruction manual.
