I was at grays looking at some golfs and one of them i started it turned over then stopped and a warning came up saying the key was out of range. what would cause this as i think key battery was OK as i locked and unlocked it using the button on the key.

So does anyone have any idea what would cause this.

Also were car i get the software for reading and removing fault codes for a Mk5 GTI.

Removing codes is only half the job. Finding what caused them is what needs to be done .
