battery advice
I am worried that when one travel for a few weeks, the battery may run down in this case - what happens? Can we get into the car to at least put it on the charger? Is it best to leave it unlocked in the shed, or even on a charger? Seems like with so much electronica letting it go fully flat could be...

Tiguan Tailgate Opening
I just got my 2012 Tiguan Pacific back from hail damage repairs and now the tailgate will only unlock if I stand there at the tailgate and press the tailgate button on the key and press tailgate handle at same time.

I was at grays looking at some golfs and one of them i started it turned over then stopped and a warning came up saying the key was out of range. what would cause this as i think key battery was OK as i locked and unlocked it using the button on the key.
So does anyone have any idea...

I cannot not get the fuel flap to open on my 2013 VW Polo. I am aware doors must be unlocked.
Is is there a manual release or some other solution?

Tiguan fuel cap won't release
Just thought id let everyone know what worked for me when my fuel cap wouldn't release, no matter what I did because of no release cable in the boot. Holding down the fuel cap to release pressure on the pin whilst I unlocked the car was what finally released it and it's back to working normal. No idea...
