    hey guys sorry for dumb question.

    so by fitting this air intake does it increase fuel economy? and also increase the turbo sound thing?

      In my opinion yes, but it's generally done for more power. A free-er flowing engine will work less to produce the same power, so I'd guess that it would help economy. Thing is will you be able to resist playing in the traffic light grand prix with the extra response? Makes it sound tougher/louder too, neither of which is good for economy!

      Generally not something done to assist the economy of an engine.

            I just picked up a carbon airbox and cold air kit identical to the forge twintake carbon boxes for $80 AUD in thailand. Booyakasha

            It is also identical to the ones BMC sells for $300-450. Bolts are in same place, filter is the same, outlets and dimensions are the same.

            SOOOO much cheaper without the screwed on Forge or BMC logo.


            Looks just like that. Carbon is same quality as the forge one I saw in Perth on Paul's car.
