in heaven? what happened? if you dont mind me asking?
the finish you had is awesome! the shimmer in the satin looks got withe pearlesent paint! fit's awesome too, im guessing you were running spacers?

Rear-ended and sent off an embankment

Yep, had 10mm spacers in the rear and that was it. It was pretty low though and I had adjustable control arms in the rear

that is pretty much what i was thinking of going for with mine, cept with black lights and badges! is that yours 2000? for making them black you reckon powder coat or paint? im thinking powder coat cause its a bit harder and i know i can have the gutter rash repaired and hidden at the same place as the powder shop
Just make sure the guys at Pymble have regularily worked on MKIV R32's, you dont want someone working on it that has no experience. Arthur and Mark work on mine too, highly recommended and I am fussy. My R32 has 235,000kms on it and no noises as it has always been properly and regularily serviced. I recommend you dont cheap out on the mechanics, window tint etc... is fine but no use if the engine blows.

just booked it in for next tuesday at pacific. i rang exotic at parra and once i finally got a hold of them they said what i had been quoted at pacific is a good price. they have worked on mk4 r32s before they said they maintain a couple them so im fairly confident in having them fix it up for me.
they also said its more than likely not going to need a whole chain kit replacement, and its probably just a tensioner and/or guides that need to be done.
                  fingers crossed!
also ordered an ebay job stumpy aerial which should be here in a couple of days!

i think i found the black headlights im going to get (eventually).
i reckon this is what the original lights would end up like if i painted them anyway. anyone have an opinion on them?

Honestly, for the cost & time involved just replace it all You avoid the possibility of having to pull it down again

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of aftermarket headlights to be honest mate. But it is your car at the end of the day

yeah i know. i was originally thinking that. but it may be a massive price difference. if i can save $500 or more from just doing guides and tensioner ill do that. $500 is a lot of money for me

lol how are they disgusting? they are replicas of the original lights but black instead of chrome. which is what im after. getting those is cheaper than waiting for a wrecked pair of oem headlights that ill paint! and i think it looks better than putting film on the lenses

                              Oh dear.

Not my cup of tea, but like others have said you car mate you build it to how you want too.

If you were going to go down those lines might be better off to build your own bi-xenon lights using some standard headlights as your basis and go from there. Plenty of places will sell kits. Depends on I guess your hand skill levels.
