Ouch. $2145.65 just to purchase it! Plus all the rest including painting. I think I'd rather spend the moolah on having them pumped localy.

Woohoo for a small update! My TST rear stress bar has arrived. It's very pretty and functional too...

I also vote the no bodykit option. I'm not a fan really. Spend a bit of dosh and get the gaurds pumped properly.
Tis a real shame about the whole fiasco though.
Sounds like the po-po neutered the dog's balls....

The RTA booklet says no more than 2" wider than the largest wheel available that came on the car. I'll look into it more but we'll just have to wait and see. Basicly it means the cops can't defect you and your car has meet criteria to prove it's road worthy.
From memory (and I can't check) the GTI tyre placard lists the option of 17x7 inch wide wheels - So you're able to fit 19x8's.
R32's came with 7.5's (7.5+1=8.5), but they run different suspension and so forth (and a different placard) - So I don't know what the legal standpoint is.
Regardless - You have the option of getting them inspected by an engineer.79 MK1 GLD

Yeah - I managed to chew up my 2 rear ABS sensors because my bolts were too long on my rear adapters.
This kinda loving is just to fit a couple of stress bars plus tidy up a few other things that have been on the to do list for too long.
More turbo loving talk to come. I have a suprise for you all maybe...Originally posted by WhubbsieThere is nothing better than a polo badge, thats why you will notice Veyron drivers with polo gti badges.... they know where the true sizzles at!
