Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Keep them coming guys and girls.
Learnt something new over the w.e
there is a difference in drive shafts between models. trickysimon's 4mo bora has smaller dia and solid drive shafts, where as mine has hollow and larger diameter driveshafts, this means he has more room to lower the car before having issues with it coming in contact with the chassis. This could explain why some cars manage to get a 50mm drop on a stock sway bar, where as others struggle even at 30mm... Ill do some more research and add this to the first few pages

Sometimes, I wish I was the iLLest lol.
I also wonder if there is a difference in track width between the 4mo and fwd cars
