    • I'm thinking of doing the ECS Suspension Refresh Kit, I cant pick between the Stage 2 and Stage 3? Which would be the better option?

Does the stage 3 include "Audi TT/R32 heavy duty upgraded control arm bushings".

Suspension is stock standard original on mine,

nope stage 3 has the normal busings. that's why i went stage 2.
if you're doing it yourself it would be easier to get the whole control arm as you won't need a press to get the new bushings in the old arms.
otherwise stage 2 is what most people went for

I ordered the stage 3 kit, it doesn't include heavy duty bushings, just the OEM ones that come with the control arm. They should last a year or so anyway, and it's cheaper to buy a "stage 3 kit then heavy duty bushings later" than "stage 2 kit then control arms + heavy duty bushings later" (if that makes sense).

That said, that's only cos I have access to a hydraulic press, if you don't then swapping out bushings isn't gonna be easy, so probably get it done once and forget about it.

bought a set of beetle headrests today in cream leather to match my seats:

            then
backed the R into a small wall and scratched the bumper, 3/4 and wheel up nicely.

            pretty cool

              • if anything they stand out more- it was a big merc van just parked up behind a few shrubberies with its ass hanging out. so, hit the skid when you see vans in weird spots now

Am i the only person who isn't modding their R32 at the moment? Seems everyone has got the bug. My resistance is still strong.

                        • for the past week have been driving around with my lower dash panels removed and thrown throughout the car. every so often crossovers for my splits fall out onto my feet, so i did a ghetto mod, and they are now wedged in place with a pair of thongs... classy inside the dub atm

                              • Well didnt do it all today but:

Got and chucked on a set of Oz Racing Superleggeras
                                Installed r32 brakes
Got Hawk Hp Plus pads for the rear
Pulled out the front control arms to put in R32 bushes + nolothane as old bushes had torn clean through
Bought a 2nd ecu and contacted Chris from C2
Left a certain manifold at my mechanics to get 2x 02 bungs welded in
                                Bought a GT3076R
and a whole bunch of other bits and pieces

Car will be off the road for a few weeks, or more likely a few months with me currently working 50+ hours a week all night shift thanks to a string of employees leaving but there are some "interesting" mods on the horizon
