What have you done to your mk4 (golf/bora) today?

i've completely ruined my door lock module. now i cant lock the driver's door or even open it from the inside. now i have a new getting out procedure - stop, turn the car off, open the window, pull the exterior grab handle, turn the ignition on, close a window, get out of the car and hope noone steals it

Geebus, the bolts look to have sheered clean off? Are the bolts supplied by Peloquin themselves?

I'm not 100% sure but he did mention to me that the bolts weren't up to the job and Peloquin were coughing up and replacing parts, so I would guess they were part of the kit. Hopefully Pete might see this and chime in with more details, I know his car has been off the road for ages now.

Pulling these apart is rather difficult.
Go see your fav wrecker, take your triple square with you

Well got of my ass n pulled the gear box out of the golf this arvo..............
and yep noice hole in the bell housing from all but 1 of the diff bolts shearing off
I think i am very lucky that there isn't more damage as all i was very close to home when it happened and the bolts look like they havn't had a chance to really start a tour of the rest of the box

You are aware that your exhaust tip/s have fallen off though right...

i have to get the tips curved down a little bit more as they seem to be bit closer then i had thought, so will do that tomorrow and hopefully not have to spend more $$ as i dont have anymore haha.
