Or even worse, the dreaded triple-square.

I just happen to have a set of short triple-square drivers that I'd be happy to loan out to Sydney people on a deposit basis (you pay a deposit, you get to use the tools, as long as they come back in reasonable condition you get your deposit back). I also have a "Spindle Housing Spreader Tool" (bit for opening up the strut holder in the front suspension) that I'd be willing to loan on the same basis.
      Nothing to see here...

I do unfortunately, its a bit louder due to the tips not being resonated so i might end up having to change it again as i don't want any sound from the exhaust.

Almost done, that and the brakes and it should be all finished one day .. no rush, quite happy to leave it there for a few months lol. One less thing to think about.

Fair few new bits and pieces, haven't really announced it to anybody but will post it all up once finished and have a bit of time!

Prethanks already to Damian/Dave & Jono @ Jade Auto in Rosebery for sorting everything out so quickly and once again working on my car!! As well as Dom, Carl, Stu and especially Tim (the melb crew) for helping with parts/delivery/pickup! (basically everything) lol

Still waiting for more misc parts from the US to arrive.

So my update is yes new bars, new brakes including ate power discs, braided lines, and few other bits and pieces as well.

              broke status

              lol

              • I installed BFI stage 1 dog bone mount bushings on Friday night, as well as a new Coolant Temperature Sender.

Then on Sunday, i gave the car a bit of a flogging in its hillclimb debut and had fun doing it

Im sure thats not ment to be there
Planning on removing the box on the weekend as i think there might be a bit of a hole waiting for me behind the preasure plate
Fark that looks exactly like all my shrapnel i found when i dropped my gearbox.. it was crown wheel fragments.. u could see the teeth missing when i rotated the drive shafts and looked up the oil drain hole this is very concerning as mine was caused from a rivet sheer off from the crown wheel.. but does your gearbox not have an LSD with the ARP diff bolt kit?

Its got a peloquin LSD but have herd a few tales of the bolts letting go although i think they have since changed what is supplied in the kits.

                        • Pete (YellowDieselGolf) had something similar happen to his Peloquin, apparently the bolts decided to take a tour of the internals.

I heard something about that today actually. Seems quite a few people have had similar issues, and Peloquin are playing the "not our fault" game...
