Was "fun" installing them
Took us a while to find something to seperate the seam where the strut mounts to the wheel hub. In the end, I used a 1/4"-3/8" converter, which when pushed into the gap and twisted, worked a treat. Until I found that I had to drop the sub frame out just to get the drivers side one out

Stubby antenna installed. AM reception passable but not fantastic (AM reception relies on a long antenna, this was to be expected), FM still great though.

Will get a photo next time I give the car a tub.

2UE for the news on the half hour as I drive to the train station, and ABC if there's cricket on. Otherwise with 6 CDs and good FM reception, it's not an issue

well i was lucky enough to be due for my control arm rubbers! thrilling job that was but i must give a huge thanks to Seb @ EuroAutomotive for helping me (and doing one arm's) of pressing the bushes in..

if anybody needs to do theirs i would suggest PAYING somebody to do it lol absolute ass of a job i tells you!

but car feels farken fantastic,c ouldnt recommend more putting nola's inside your control arms.. so much more responsive and feels much better on the coilies! that and oil change, (due, every 5k) and changes pads to green stuff which i think ill have to take out again ... too noisey!

busy weekend..... also found I had dead Lower control arm bushes, so I got them swapped out with the R32 part....the front now feels so much firmer so I can imagine how Fuzion's nola's feel.

Also, drove H100VW to testdrive/buy an ex cond S3...getting a Custom Code ECU flash while the S3 was balanced and aligned at Bob Jane. Now there is no power hole in the low range and a constant power delivery, with much improved throttle response. Noticeable power gain albiet small. Very satisfied. Next up, possible Bilstein shock upgrade.

Got 600km from a tank on the weekend, and have gone since sunday arvoi without using full boost / WOT. Tank was almost empty at the start of the week... I put in $20 to see how far I can go.

630 filled up last night...

best ive gotten 700.... alot of trips up to the girlfriends house (on the freeway for 30km... kept the usage down and the km's high )

best ive done is filled the tank up to 54.95 L.... 50 ml left in the tank !!!

Started paint work overhaul 2day 4 hrs of solid work and still not done.

Claybarred, polished, mags cleaned and dressed.

Start on the 2 coats of wax tomorrow then will be dressing the rubbers and black trim, then lastly cleaning and dressing the vinyl inside. Will post pics up once done.
