Complete r32 front end suspension swap and solid mounted my subframe over the last couple of days











Also installed some aluminium coolant bits



And lowered it more, needs guards rolled sooo bad now! And a wash haha

fitted the front strut top bushes..anyone know if a mm or less gap remains between top and metal cup/washer thing..shes tite and done as it came off?

feels heaps better-wonder how long it will last??

I have zero gap with the powerflex mounts. If you replaced with OEM rubber, then I give it 6-12 months and the gap will have increased.

This. I was pleased visually by the powerflex mounts in stus wagon. looks better than stock how they sit plus the cap.
my 32 bushes sit pretty tight, like 1mm as you said. its taken a few years for them to start collapsing.

It was all actually from a tt so i wasnt sure if the rack was a quick rack or not but i tested it today and it's 2.5 turns lock to lock
Hopefully ill be borrowing a guard roller tomorrow and ill be able to take it for a proper test drive

Took all stage 3 parts off and just running a stage 1 for now. Been off the road for 2 years and feel like Ive wasted my time Maybe an excuse for me.7?

Did another boost test. Moar boost leaks identifed!!!

N75 to turbo actuator.... Smallest leak.

Of bigger concern, the brake booster vacuum line has been dodgily patched up in the past, and it's leaking. Tbh I can't believe I haven't noticed this on the past. This is kinda concerning since brakes are nice to have.

Other than that it's holding pressure fairly well.

How loud should the noise of air passing through the block be. Mine is fairly loud, kind of sounds like another leak.

Boost leak test was to 20psi, so fairly happy.

I remembered about the new n75 revision E I had ordered and decided to install it last night. I was replacing a rev. F. Despite the ordering of the numbers in the alphabet E supercedes F. BUT ANYWAY...

Even thou both of these n75s are specced the same, I noticed that the new E is very fast to react. Eg. No initial spiking on wot. I'm not sure if n75s become slower to react over time but the F does react slower.

Some people like this intial surge of power as it makes their car feel Moar powerful.

Maybe the custom code tune is programmed to take into account the spike.. I doubt it.

Anyone else has experience with other n75s.
