I got them for the Gruvenparts too, didn't seem to do much for them but like I say, they were either cheap joints or just not greased when I got them. Paul was very good about it though and refunded me for the joints.
good to see there is some companies out there who still care about their customers

    • So went to custom fabricator today for a quote for a hood extension and side indicator flush with paint...around $1500 the lot depending how long it takes. Now i know where to go and how much to put away after the engine conversion

Might as well delete the rub strips from the doors too dubster.. I'm thinking of it if I go vinyl wrap..

I had the bolster re done on my seat for $350, thought the headliner would be a lot more.

              What needs doing exactly ?

Shyte, looks like $500 wasn't a ridiculous quote after all it needs to be taken out and retrimmed. Its sagging at the back. I might give it ago myself and if it turns out like poo I'll get it re-done

                • I'm definitely doing mine myself, Matt at Camden GTI said there's a place in Alexandria I can get the proper padded material for about $40, and there's how-to's on the net, easy. Just trying to decide on keeping it light grey, or going black..

I think they'd give you a MUCH cheaper quote if you told them you'd take it out and just give them the headliner, so they had no labour on the removal/install. Also, cleaning all the old glue and padding off is labour you can do yourself to save cash too.

                  • A quick google lists lots of mobile blokes. They say about 90-120 mins work.
I've wondered about it; mine is dirty, and it is a bit loose around the sun visor.

I've actually taken the roof liner off before too try and re-glue the old lining, which worked for like a week. My biggest concern with re-covering it is the sunroof, so many curves I guess if I can't do it i'll already have the liner out and say a few bucks on labor

                              • Threw the Mercs back on. This time with 25F/15R adapter combo, rather then the 20F/15R I had prior.
Playing around with a few things to try getting the rear to sit down as it did before the new struts went in
