  • split CV boot and now a clunky left outer CV joint. Might as well do both.

Price from the stealers - just over $1000 per side for complete driveshafts

Price from a UK vendor on ebay - less than $200 AU for both sides, complete driveshafts posted. Saving about $1800 - or less than the price of the joints alone, guess where I bought them.....

            • I bought some landrover monodials pretty cheap the other week. finally got some spare time to fix them up (some have gutter rash and just plan on painting them my self to keep them cheap). Heres one that i painted using the duplicolor wheel paint, i think it turned out pretty good!
ignore my foot, and that dark spot on the left side is just a wet patch that i touched up

and heres one which i haven't done yet

won't be on the car anytime soon unfortunely, gotta save for adapters and other crap.

these guys were very helpful, and were careful to make sure i got the right ones. Even sent a few pics back and forth.
Dunno what the quality will be like, but their service to date was excellent:

Yep , postage was 65 GBP to send the pair - so about $210AU for both sides posted to my door.

I have seen good aftermarket ones on youtube and they cost the guy installing them about $60 each - they change the whole axle instead of doing the CV joints

Dealer wanted just over a grand each side!

They seem like a good mob on ebay, but postage return would cost a bit if you were claiming warrantee (however still cheaper to try them, have them both fail , return under warrantee, pay post and get them back than buying genuine).

I asked the ebay guy plenty of questions, sent a pic of my fitment and he was careful to send the right ones. After i paid, they were marked as posted the same day (today). Will tell you what I think when I get them
