    • I had the same problem and took the fog light out and left it out - have blown none since - that was September last year.

I thought it was only with the MK5 that single reversing lights were introduced. I've got two on my Golf and just assumed the Bora was the same.

                    • Looks so slammed, Sam! I wouldn't worry about your driveshaft. It won't break. Your sump on the other hand...... haha

                      • SAM, get adjustable drop links and make them SHORTER, and you should have better clearance. Driveshaft tends to rub on the top of the droplink that joins the front anti roll bar and the lower control arm. Making the link shorter rolls the antiroll bar forwards giving you more room in the curve at the top, no hitting.
I got some adjustable links from ebay, cut about an inch out and then welded, no more bumpage

i thought the 4motions didn't suffer from this problem because the swaybar is mounted on the shock? maybe driveshaft is rubbing on chasis?

                            • thanks for the input guys .. had another look and it appears to be rubbing on the chassis :/
checked the sway bar .. has enough clearance .. has this problem been tackled before ?
it doesnt happen at the left side because it's a thinner shaft ..
im going to take this for the Lifestyle til it starts to really get annoying

                              • Swaybar will never rub on 4motion. I'd be willing to bet that your tierods hit on the body at full lock though.
Will need a chassis notch if you don't want the driveshaft to rub on the body, but highly illegal
