    • Chopped about 25mm out of my adjustable drop links and putting them in shorter than the original links by about 25mm - no more driveshaft rubbing...

Both cooling fans gone and no AC - Guess who is about to do the Rad fan resistor replacement mod?

Engine surprisingly doesn't get all that hot though, even on a warm day - lucky

I need to do this... Which drop links are best to start with? Don't want to spend very much on those parts at all, as now looking at having to buy headlights and other bits.

Be careful how much you cut off the longer length, as they are not threaded for the full length...

Ok, cool, that makes sense. About how much did you cut off the long bit?

                      • I pulled the passenger door lock again, 3rd time. This time I re-soldered all the contacts. When I was putting it all back together one of the wires to the latch microswitch broke, my soldering from the last attempt was obviously not good enough.
For what its worth I can now strip the door an remove the lock module in about 10minutes.

I didn't have time to grab pics, and most of what I've done is allready on forums. However, I am getting a bit fancy with my amp location, so I'll write that up.

No, I'm only powering the fronts and a sub, so I'm running a hertz he4 in 3 channel mode. Autobahn offered a good deal at $250 for a box and sub, when i took it to the checkout, got charged for the $60 box, but the girl didn't see the sub. Amp was $500 more. Winning!
