    • Bought 2L of BMP colour and clear but noticed I now have a pin dent on my new guard.
Gotta fix that before I can spray.

Black magic pearl. There's a sticky in the bodywork/trim & detail forums that tells you all of the paint codes, just tell any good paint supplier the code and they can pull it up.

I'm spraying guard, bonnet, grille and bumper and possibly a RRX body kit.

Not sure what sort of blemishes you have but if its small stuff you can get it mixed up in a spray can.
Just remember to paint clear over it otherwise it looks dull. Personally I'd do it with a proper spray gun but thats just me.

              • Where can you buy this? Say from boral or does it have to be a car specific paint place? Just small blemishes. Hardly noticeable but I'd like them fixed. Got all the spray gear so wouldn't be hard. May get the spray can aswell. Along with some clear coat.
                Cheers

                  • have to replace both CV boots after finding grease everywhere in the passenger wheel arch while giving my car a wash then inspected the drivers side and it had started to leak. For now it has some duct tape over just to keep the **** out and try to seal it untill i get new boots replaced next week

                    • 83, you got a quote for new CV's? I think i need mine done as the wheel vibrates when i go 110, but only under throttle, which suggests its not wheel balance. I don't get knocks at full lock though.

Have started a photo 'build' thread for my car... See sig

                      • havnt got a quote but its only the rubber boots that need to be replaced the CV's are fine no problem with them at this time

                        • ah ok... I hope cv's aren't too much.

Today i called up insurance to add mods i'd forgotten to tell them about. Got agreed value increased by 3500 for only 3 bucks extra per month... Not bad

                              • i wouldn't bother importing commonly available items like that from ECS, there are plenty of places that rebuild or reseal driveshafts!
