What a bitch to fit.. gettin the old out was easy. getting the new in, not so easy.
can feel its more free flowing up top and it makes a different (awesome) dv sound through the CAI. also got rid of the hooting that was happening at around -6Hg
next on the list is some semi slicks then i'll be done for a bit. hopefully.. hehe

Rubbing/grinding noise up front is a suspected bend strut. Got talking to my mechanic and apparntly hes a big air ride fan and suggested i get on it

Good prices going on ECS kits at the moment. Was on an email from them the other day. Could you use the bent strut as an excuse as to why it was too low to get out of the defect?

Did front suspension refresh (Stage 3 - though with TT bushes - as Rolf is about 10 years old now so I thought it was time), replaced front shocks and springs with KYB AGX Adjustables and Bilsteins (Did rears a couple of weeks ago), fit new Audi TT rims (thanks George S3) and had wheels aligned - also replaced entire front lower grill section with new pieces I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Next on the list is replacing my brake rotors prior to service which is due in a month or so. Then I'd like to grab a heavy duty skid plate to replace the stock one which was ripped off (after I hit a particularly deep pot hole) when I made the treck to Lake Mungo in NSW last year.
