  • Is there an item in the order holding the rest up?

Because it's a main road, the RTA are responsible, and I'm lodging a claim against them. You can see in the second shot that they've made an attempt to repair it before (in the right lane), so they can't claim they're not aware of it.
    Nothing to see here...

Good on you mate, stick it to em! Bloody shocking roads, i'll do my old 80year old man sitting on the porch in a rockingchair speach and say to send the dole bludgers out to a farm, make them work then spend that wasted tax on the roads...and an autobarn while they're at it. Haha! It's shocking though, the other day I was driving on a road through newfarm, and this bit of road they had cut and oviously planned to resurface just had the biggest 90 degree lip on it, made the .:R make an awful bang (nearly brought a tear to my eye...not really, but still), it's shocking, could have easily gave me a flat and/or done some damage to my suspensipon. Bastards!

I ordered my UNIbrace the other day, and also painted my wheels satin black, looks the goods! Will get some pictures. I need ideas for a false floor since I removed my rear seats, i need to keep it lightweight though (fibreglass or similar), if anyone has some inspiration or ideas, put it my way!

manaz you reckon you'll get the council to pay for damage to your car? I remember there being an acurrent affairs program recently that was about that exact issue.
not sure what they said though cos i didn't watch it, just saw an add.
Same haha dam something holding the order up. Then got to wait however long for the actual thing to get here aswell.

          • yeah it's a billy boat 2.5" turbo back. Availability always said 4-7 days shipping, then they emailed me after a week saying it'd be 14 days, and now they're saying 21. The only thing that has been said is that there is no reason for the supploer to be taking so long, they could easily have made it in that time. Not all that comforting without an actual explanation!

Tempted to cancel the order out of principle, but can't really get what i want from another place...

That damn M5 is always closed for some reason or another and the roads still ****.
Pisses me off that the tax money doesn't go back into the roads.

If the money raised from speed camera's alone went into the roads then I'd be all for them

Ha! I think for all motoring enthuiests that'd just be more reason to speed so we know that some revenues might go to fixing the roads that are breaking our cars!

                  • Don't want to sound like I'm blowing the governments horn, but they are in the middle of resurfacing the M2 at the moment and the new stuff is quite special. However, every other major damn road in Sydney is atrocious. Btw new rear swaybar coming from ECS, can't wait to get them in, hopefully no delays.

I just fitted new strut mounts on my car when down here in Melb, they decided it would be a good idea to have the new road surface on Ferntree gully rd 30mm higher than the old surface, on both sides of the road, without blending it with the existing road and leave it like this for 3 weeks! In one day, the trip to and from work resulted in 1 month old strut mounts going from fine to busted and soggy. Good luck getting anything out of the a*se reamers that are Vic Roads and the Brumby Government! Hopefully you have more luck with your RTA up there Manaz!
