I mean like, i dont really think i like them. But it brings in a good 90's look which is pretty individual and i like it in that aspect.

It's a sad day, someone reversed into the side of me because they weren't looking.

Rim got chopped a bit and damaged my wheel arch.
Could have been a lot worse but still a bit in shock.
Photos com up the wrong orientation for some reason on this forum when posting from mobile.

On the upside. Here's a photo of the new intake and I polished the engine bay up a bit.
I also repainted front lip and rear lip(?), hard to show in photos though.

I'm struggling to figure out what part of the car that's on , you said the side but I'm lost :/
did they hit your car while you were in it or did you find it afterwards??

                            Thanks.

Unfortunately not with the insurance for the accident. I am hoping to get it resolved this week as I have bare metal exposed there, only have 3rd party which I only just renewed last month. Should have got comprehensive...

If they hit you, it should go through their insurance or their cost, not yours

                              Or did I read incorrectly?

yes, but they have to make a claim, it still comes down to them if they want to or not.

If you have comprehensive and it's not your fault your insurance will repair your car and make a claim on your behalf against the other person's insurance company. (I'm fairly certain that's how it works).

Luckily they were honest about their mistake and filed a claim in (alternatives would be to pay privately to avoid making a claim), so now their insurer just has to approve the quote my mechanic sent them and repairs should start soon.
