I am checking basically everyday for 5x100 wheels and it's so hard to find anything at all, and something that I like. 4x100 you're spoilt for choice.Originally posted by Juzzpc View Posti thought you had a cabby? isn't it 4x100? why would you want 5 stud wheels, 4studs have waaay more wheel optionsPast - '95 VW Golf MK3 VR6

I have the cabby and the wheels are the least of my problems.
Bought second hand shocks and they don't fit. So the mechanic is gonna try and chase down a new set. So yeah.
Moral of story, don't by second hand shocks haha.

I guess that is very true. I am not saying there is anything bad with second hand setups, just saying that I ran into problems with mine that others may not have.Originally posted by HaydEn View PostI think the real moral of the story is buy the correct ones.
80% of the cars on here are running 2nd/3rd even 4th owned setups.
With that being said, the set I bought are salvageable with the right strut staying and the left being retrofitted. Its the only option I have for now and will do.
As for wheels. Just going to keep looking around and see whats out there.
All comes down to money and work commitments haha

Check out an website called Cabby Info. They are split into two different eras showing the colours of mk1 and mk3 cabs. Some colours are rarer then others.Originally posted by stefcio007 View PostSaw a metallic green cabriolet today. Don't see that everyday.
Was metallic paint ever a factory option?
Anyways, I'll do a shameless plug of my green cabriolet

The green looks amazing. Can't wait to get it back.
