Put approximately 4 hours in just today just searching everything for wheels and such. Considering even going for fake bbs's rs rims since there is such a little amount of nice fitting wheels I'm finding.

Easy to check if you have enough oil. If all good it's probably just a faulty sensor.
And if your pressure is going then you should be able to spot a leak.Past - '95 VW Golf MK3 VR6

I'll still check everything out tomorrow and see what it is. It might be the PCV valve that my dad snapped off last week....
Just happy because its getting a good service this tuesday anyway.

There's a post on the net where someone had the light come on more often and it turned out an oil baffle had disintegrated and was blocking flow and reducing pressure. It could be many things.
Always good to have a good look, if you can find the problem yourself it saves having to pay the mechanic to try and find it, and their time is more valuable than yours.Past - '95 VW Golf MK3 VR6

I had my PCV leaking for a while, didn't trigger the light, just had oil sapping there and heating up, could smell it in the car. Unless something there was unplugged?

I'll change the oil tomorrow I think and will chuck in that engine cleaner stuff and see what happens. It could be a blockage or anything really. I just don't know really. It beats not trying though. Happy to cross the PCV valve and associated hoses of the list.
I admit, I am out of my element with VWs. More comfortable with Holdens but I'll give it a crack anyways.
