        • Alright guys. Lets real talk. How bad ARE JOMs? Im not willing to put $2k coilovers on my $2k car. I daily it, yes, but i don't mind a stiff ish ride. They will be wound right down, probably to the bottom, so will my ride be stiff? Or will they be bouncy? I won't tolerate bouncy but stiff is ok. If they will be bouncy, what are some better alternatives in the similar $400-700 price range?

ive got hot tunning, same sh*t as joms, havent would them down all the way as i had major scrubbing on the inside wall, but they're wound up about 5-7cm now and the ride quality isnt too shab, i cant tell if im bouncing or if it's just stiff and i'm just jolting around while going over bumps.. for around $500 shipped ill give them a 7/10 considering the price and all. just my 2c. not even sure if i answered the question

            • As far as driven a car with cheapy + having sport coil overs on mine, If your young then they aren't too bad. Mine are quite stiff and you can feel the bumps in the road but it has hardly affected myself, only with the occasional comment from the parents. The difference between the cheapo coils (400$) and the sports coil overs (1100$) I managed to salvage was significant but the price definitely shows. Having the car lower and stiffer has definitely made it handle so much better, which I would say was definitely worth just for being a bit more bumpy.
As for bouncy I wouldn't have a clue, wait for some more reponses for that
I would say, see if anyone near you would let you have a drive of theirs and see for yourself.

              • I am just gonna bite the bullet and put in a few extra dollars for some BC coils. Nothing but good reviews from them.

                  • Anyone have a top radiator hose spare, don't care how old just need one asap. The one from the top of the radiator to the thermostat to the tb and overflow tank.

                    • I doubt you'd run joms/HT's all the way down

                      Plus one on bag's

Side effect of a heavy car or should I get new/better springs? :/

Side effect of soft stock suspension, Slam it on coils.

                          • As much as bags sounds like a good idea, spending 2200 isn't ideal unless the car is worth like 15k+ in my own personal opinion.
If you can give me a picture Clift, I'll check my parts car.
