    • looks fkn epic bro.

      lovin that grill...

i got those vents too!! mk3love.com in the sale section for anyone that is interested...

the vent on the drivers side has some kind of metal tubing behind it. possibly to do with the aircon i think and I can't get around it to put my DIY CAI kit in... it's giving me the ****s... lol

smoothing the whole thing would be my next guess too. that paint matches up perfectly man. top effort!!!

      • Yup they are the ones off mk3love.com , damn cheap and arrived within a matter of days from the UK, not bad hey!

Yeah that part thats in the way on thd drivers side can easily be moved out of the way. You will see it is attached to a bracket, which if loosened, can be rotated to the right up out of the way You may also find the vents dont fit in the holes properly using the tabs already on the vents. I cut off both bottom ones and drilled a hole in both the left over plastc bit on the vent and on the front bar where it is supposed to attach to, then simply pushed them in and zip tied them to the bar through the holes. Nice tight fit in the now.

And you guessed it, smoothing the turn signals and lights will be the next step, I just need a spare rear bar to hack up!!

        Thanks for the comments peoples

You can get that effect with the eyelids if you turn them around the other way, I chose to go for more the 'sleeper than the 'boser look on mine. God those wheels are smick though ...

                  • Mickey, get stuffed!!

And yeah that MK3 has been one of my inspirations I even have the same headlights, but they need fixing before I put them back in.

I did think about going the textured black strip all around, but still in two minds about it, Im digging the cleaner look still.

Next up, some phat spacers for the rear

                    • Maybe I'm too used to seeing my car, but I much prefer the colour-coded look. Sleepy-look eyelids look better than the angry style.
