Excellent observation there James, I really quite like this look he has those rims really suit the car alot!!! I am just concerned about the chunks of tyre that would be taken off when doing this otherwise I'm going for it. These wheels certainly have taken my brain and thrown it around with wheel choice
Raymond did you manage to find the thread on this guys car?I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

Nah SteveMight be worthwhile to make a thread on Vortex asking who owns the car?
By the way, it's American so it doesn't come with side indicators on the fenders! It looked like he retrofitted on Euro bumpers (what we get as stock) so he doesn't have side repeaters on the bumper either. Damn clean.

Steve, I've seen a Mk3 with those Kerscher Carmonas in Sydney a few times. I think the guy goes to my Uni, but I've never met him. I tagged two notes about VWW though but I don't think he's interested in mingling at all.
From the pics, it looks like a staggered set-up.

Yep and from the dubmeister.co.uk website it looks like there are 2 sizes 16x7.5 and 16x9 with 4x100 and 5x100 respectively, gives me a nice look at it I quite like them and they seem cheaper than the KT1s when pricing them up, looks like I may have to get my back archs worked on by the way it looks like in the pics!I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

If you're thinking of keeping the arches indefinitely, you could possibly cut the fender lips like I've done, and attach the arches using double-sided tape or adhesive silicon. I'm actually thinking of doing that, except I'll have the arches smoothed and colour coded so it just looks like I have mini-Corrado flares. Again, it may be hard trying to work the side mouldings in, since I want to keep them textured...
Just to give you an idea on the way the wheels would sit, my rear wheels are currently 8" wide, ET12, 205/40R16 tyres and I don't get rubbing with the fender lips cut. They poke out about 5-10mm. The Kerscher Carmona in 9" has an offset of 15, and this supposedly pokes out 10mm more than what I am running (wheel offset calculator FTW!). I reckon with 205 or even 215 rubber, you'd be able to stretch the tyres enough to have them sit under the arches with minimal rubbing!
Dubmeister has a LOT of tasty wheels! If you're thinking of using them, check out their other wheels. Brock B1 wheels look horny on a Mk4, could probably work really well on a Mk3.
