Champion effort! Now it sounds like a 6! so another question of mine is, with the 268 cams, where does it really open up? 3k?

Haha thanks fellas, Alex it opens up around the 3-4K makr which isn't to bad!

I still have one or two things to go onto the engine but I am also debating whether or not to put extractors as it will give me mid range torque. Seb has extractors hmmm I'm tempted

Raymond I will have to give you a drive in it to show you the setup

I'm with tim, from what i've read you are better off just porting the downpipe to match the gasket.

I've got extractors... meh. Dont know what brand but form what i've read extractors only give about 1% gain if that. The stockies are fine. If my extractors ever die, i'll go back to stock.

But my GIAC chip that I have has been programmed to suit cams, porting and extractors would they do anything then or still the same?

Seb should be able to answer that better than any of us! We just all repeat what we have read elsewhere .

Bang for buck though i think is the biggest issue most people have. So i guess it all depends on how much bang seb expects from them. and how much buck he is after

Haha thanks Tim, yeah Seb has told me that I should get mid range torque and it would be good! Just wanted to know if anyone had anyother experiences with extractors. They were custom build as he was going to put them in his car before he went forced induction

so basically your buying wateva seb doesnt need on his vr6

from memory MDT had them fitted to his old car. But then had them removed cos they didnt show anything on the dyno. But then MDTs car may not have been running properly either.

Hmm yes I read that some time ago, you probably won't get anything dyno/ figure wise out but more responce through the middle with increase in torque
