Also picked up a back up plan if my 3.2 swap falls through.

Stripped most of the car this arvo.

Tomorrow ill take out the stereo system.

I removed all the trim from the bottom half, except door cards for now, carpet, sand bags and the padding. Rear seats, belts, parcel shelf and trims etc.
The sound deadening stuff will be this weekend.

All this stuff weighed in at 40kg.

From what I've found, this still means it weighs 1200+kg.

Got the stereo out today, was only about 10-15kg max. Though most of it is aftermarket.

I have a couple more parts set to arrive soon then ill be set.

Congrats mate. I vividly remember getting mine 13 years ago. I still have it to this day. Hands down the sweetest little ride.

Hhm. Don't overly use a computer so probably not. A feel a record of Numbers will be accurate.


EAA Engineering P/S and A/C delete arrived today. Hopefully get around to that this weekend.

Still need to dry ice off the sound deadening but by the looks of it there will only be a couple KG there.

Want to gut the rear door shells and run fixed plexi. But this is a pipe dream.

Went to strip out my rear reo today.


It did not exist.

I have a couple more things to do then ill get to the weigh bridge. For the time being.

Assuming starting weight of 1211kg (2666lbs) most reliable source I've found.

Carpet, sand bags & seats: 90lbs
Reo: 50lbs~

Total: 2526lbs or 1148kg's.
