Yeh ive been thinking about organising a dyno day for the past couple of weeks now, vr6 engine related cars only, and maybe mk1/mk2 aswell.
Gonna be using the guy the golfnet people use to use (did my base run with him).

This is true, lads back home could never understand why I tucked tyres in the front but only just a little in the back

After an unexpected phone call this morning I had to prematurely put my 'joke' wheels back on before my rear spacers showed up.

I'm at the point where I need to cut out my helpers to tuck tyre. Not sure what has happened as I used to tuck a 165/50/15..

With the addition of a much faster car to my collection, I will eventually build a motor for the vr and turn it into a 1/4mi. (Sometimes circuit) mobile.

Rough plans are large cam's (TT28 hopefully use a chipped ECU before resorting to the standalone setup I have in the shed, find someone to do decent head work and a good valve job. Run stock block re-ringed and mk4 head gasket. (Hopefully find a decent 2.9 block cheap, would be ideal but unlikely)

Bought a 42DD test pipe, should be here soon. And then will hopefully get down to WSID for a run and see what happens.

Adaptec spacers turned up this morning so chucked them on:

Pretty sweet setup IMO for those who can't afford expensive or 'hellaflush' wheels. Or those who don't want to run an aggressive setup.

                    20mm front
                    30mm front (aggressive flare job)

I'd go 20mm rear and 15mm front if it was on a stock-ish guard.

Spacers on the stockies make it look a lot better. Vr wheels are a cool oem design.

Did you go to 5 stud?

                                Feck you A.

They are a 195/50/15. I was only thinking today how ridiculous a stock 205/55? Would look..
