on the strut itself is the bag screwed onto a spring perch or something? I'm just spitballing here but maybe go over the other strut and just compare the two to make sure everything is the same.

That strut might actually just be faulty. got warranty?

I've seen this before on somebody's coilover install. I believe something was put in the wrong spot or upside down? Sorry about being so vague about it, but that was years ago.

Hope this helps at least a tiny bit

Why is is sitting so damn high?

Have you got the bearing underneath the rubber?

In mine it goes strut>bearing and spacer>rubber top> through the strut top amount> then the metal top goes on and a nut...that's it

Im just getting really pissed off as its more then just the bushes.

I got no one that can explain to me why my bag is turning... This will not be cool if im sitting on 110km and the bag turns ripping the air line off and emptying the air in seconds ----frustrating-----

Dude if you can't get a hold of any by the show, wack mine in for the show. I think they might actually be HD bushings as well so they last a little.

I'm sorry but suspension bushes is no excuse for not coming. At this point my car doesn't even start haha

I know theyre listed on the Dubaddiction site but they always seem to be sold out. If you need them fast, maybe see what a dealership wants for them, they might not be that much, I sell parts for a few other makes of car and things like that can actually be quite cheap.

Or maybe hit up camden gti, they might be able to sort you out.

Haha All good I was wondering what that little part was for thanks again.

Ok I did have this diagram Stuffed if I can find it again. I used G, H, I, E, F.

Did you use 'C' aswell becuase I dont have that part and with it all together I recal it not fitting anyway.

For some reason 'E' doesnt sit flash into 'I' and when its all together bags full of Air theres a nasty gap

Heres a Picture... This is not normal ?
Why else would my bag twist 180 ??? The right side air bag turns with ease now & the left bags nice & tight...

I have a feeling Ive missed something so easy & feel so stupid about it lol..

Hope the parts are all alright, wasnt sure which little circle clip thing you were after as I just have them all in a box so put a few different sized ones in, so hopefully one of them is right haha.

I didn't get any pics when I put them in but I just assmebled it the way it has it in this diagram. Did you get these instructions?

The scans lost some quality from emailing it from one computer to the other and then uploading it to photobucket, but yeah, hope its of some help

Edit: I did it with the left set of parts, as thats for the vr6. Come to think of it it had specific instructions to make it work for vr6 and something in the mount had to be trimmed or something, I just put them in with some old vr6 mounts I had lying around which I changed out of the old car becuase they were shagged. Will be putting fresh ones in soon, but they dont seem to be too bad. I didnt have to trim anything though like it said I would have to.
