I have two options for the wire air line set ups.

Both options have there good & bad under may be very tight if I get the pancake airtank but can stil be done.
Behind may be a little messy but you wont see it from the front.

Stu if I wasnt 3 hrs away I would of already hit you up!

It had to be done GoLfman !!

Im chasing up a couple of pancake air tanks, prices are all over the place..and postage is stupid !

Its raining today so work on car

Big chunk of aluminium for a nice straight cut.

SO if it happens the pancake tank will fit in the wheel well.

Loving the tanks though! Good work!
Once I read "pretty big job" I thought.. ok forget it..Im just over working on the car plus its getting busy with work.
I Have to knuckel down and get this car on Air now.

The Tanks in the holders were once more tested with 151psi over night just to be 100% sure.

As for ur engine problem, maybe it's time for a quick refresh !
Put new gaskets clean out the intake, throttle body wipe any grime an soot off the piston heads, chamber heads, ports etc
Put new filters alround + new oil. After all shiit u'll be shootin 110killer wasps hopefully
Actually put a mk4 metal head gasket, it's suppose to give another 5-8kw !
An that coolant bottle's lookin sad in corner there ! Your doin all this work at the back, might as well do something at the front. Shiny inlet mani & new coolant bottle ?
    Complete package FTW !!!
    Thanks Mate.
    Its all about the Quality!

I have planned to give the car a full service with new coolant
    G12 Plus Plus

    new oil & filter,new plugs & leads.
Very true I should get a new Gasket where can I get a Mk4 metal Gasket link please.

Thanks for the tips Rd Runrr Im always open to them

With the air tanks though, how's the compression testing going? I always thought air tanks were meant to be cylindrical as there were less weak spots (edges?) in it compared with others.
Your spot on Ray, Air tanks ideally should be Round Cylindrical, Theres almost no weak points.
I was looking at hundreds of boot installs to get ideas when I thought to my self almost No ones done Square tanks for the obvious reasons,So I thought lets give it a go.

You wouldnt go much larger then my tanks as im sure they would bulge

If you look on page 11 you can see the Air tanks were all pressure tested
